will there be a problem?

i got my email for a new reseller with a request of a custom dns .

in my email it is marked www.myhostingco.com so it is prompting me to set the ns server as ns1.www.myhostingco.com will this be a problem or should i have it changed? thanks in advance

It should just be NS1..xxxxxxx.xxxx, no www.

Email support to ensure that they've set those name servers correctly in the DNS zone.
