DNs managment

bought my domain name and my hosting yesterday

now got the domain name and all the info i need but when i go on the net to go to my site it wont find it i go into dns to make sure its set up right and all i got is a small box with




Not using our nameservers


To delete a record, simply vacate the fields and save.
To edit a record, simply overtype the text and save.
Need more help? See the DNS Instructions



Return to management

nothing else so i am presuming that the damain is not set up to point at my hosting site can some one explain how to do this is there something else i need to do before i can alter the dns settings??


oh yeh bought both the domain and the hosting from here also if i go to my page it does not show ??

I did that but when i type http://www.bane1.com across the top bar and click go it just does not find my site ??

uploaded a new index and everything just i cant see me page for some reason i have np's seeing anything else thats y i think its the dns

i know its not just me as i have had my m8 try to get on and he is with a diff isp

until your record propagates with the correct DNS servers no one is going to be able to reach your site via the domain name. propagation takes 24-72 hours.

24-72 hours is typical propagation time.

When you signed up for hosting here you received an email that gives you IP address paths to your site.

The "access by name" won't happen until your ISP has the domain records - which is part of the propagation process.
