DNS transfer problems

Today is like day 9 or something and since i paid it has said the transfer is completed.

when i go to manage i see this (Click on the domain name you wish to edit. 1 of 1 shown.)

but there is nothing to click. its as if i just can't view it. so i figure someone could check the transfer state weather it is transfered or not.

my domain name is unlimitedgamer.net ..some help be nice cause i paid for about 10 days of surpass hosting and havn't used it yet kinda just throwing my money away :/

Have you opened a support ticket on this issue? Support techs don't read these forums often - they're busy with their ticket queues.

if you host with us you can always get at it via

http://ipaddress/~username/

thats the hosting part - then theres the matter of the domain registration.

your whois registration shows surpasshosting.

in any case - please email support.

did you change the DNS servers at your domain registrar? or is that in limbo while the domain name is transfered to surpassdomains?

Transfers are stressful... it involves waiting on two 3rd parties to coordinate a transaction on your behalf... I hated the transfer process when I moved one of my domains recently.

I had a very similar problem when I transferred my domain (not to surpass). It took a few days to get the domain transferred, and then several more days for the new registrar to let me manage it.

It took several days even after the transfer was "valid" on the registrar side (whois returned the new registrar's info). Maybe it has to do with nameserver propogation.

yes it is quite stressful. After a while they told me it would take 7-10 days. it took me like 10 and a half days cause i knew there was a problem and it took them two seconds to fix i am sure...

now i set my nameservers... not sure if it even worked though. sure thats gonna take forever as well.. 24-72 hours... i bet it takes me 71 :'(

Good to see you're an optimist! <grin>

Since the site already exists, and Surpass domain has been echoing your site name for a while now, it shoudl not take so long. I'm almost guessing 24 hours max....
