Custom DNS settings? advice / how to request

I recently upgraded from a regular reseller account to the OC10 package. I have a few sites hosted for others, but now I have some businesses interested in getting hosting through me so I figure I should make these changes now to minimize the impact on others sites. My question is, now that I can do custom DNS names, how do I go about setting it up correctly? The reseller domain is nockam.net so I would hope that i can have it reflect that domain somehow. Also, does anyone think i should just leave things how they are? As far as I can tell the only advantage to having your own custom DNS is just the name being your own instead of another companies.

Send that request to Support. They can hook you up.
Did Surpass register the domains for you?

My domains are all registered by godaddy.com & mydomains.com (before I knew about surpass)

So support are the ones to set this up for me? Its not something I can do under "DNS Functions" in WHM? If not, what are those functions for? I haven't dared to mess with anything in there yet because I don't want to screw something up.

Your registrars may offer the A record and CNAME services that you will need to alter. Check with them for specifics.

I knew there was a lot to DNS settings and I thought I was familiar with most of them. But what you posted is over my head. So I am going to go read up on DNS server settings. Thanks for the help Snide I would leave you some positive reputation points but it appears that doesn't exist anymore. Thanks again!
