Is it possible...
to change our main domain name? Say we bought a new one and don't want the main one anymore? Will that change our username (what is in front of your MYSQL user names, etc)?

You can change your domain name yes, and I think it changes your username... but it might not. You may be able to request that your username stays the same, in order that it doesn't break everything that reaches your mysql.
To change your main domain it might be a $10 fee, and you can send in the request: http://www.surpasshosting.com/?x=addon.

It does cost to do that, but Surpass will change it I think the first few times for free.
As for the username, it won't change. If you wanted a change, email support for the username change. I know I've changed my domain name before and it wasn't charged.

There is normally a $10 fee if it has been over 30 days since you got the account. Usually we give customers that have never asked for a change, the change for free. Rai was right about requesting it, there is a link on the addon page for a domain reset.
Alternatively you can email sales[at]surpasshosting.com about it and to further discuss.  |
