point a subdomain to a different IP

Is there an way I can point a subdomain to another IP with a shared hosting plan? If so, what do I have to do & would it cost any extra money?

You'd want to email support about that.

It is technically possible, but not sure what they would charge.

You can add such domains in cPanel, but then you can't see them or delete them...

See thread default-owned zones can't be deleted?
