standards, standards, standars........
FF and TB are coded to w3c standards MS is coded to support an illegal monolopy

I hear all the time that FF is broke because is will not work at xyz.com
sorry, the lemings at xyz used FrontPage to do the site and it is broke

If mozilla starts coding to support these sites then it will become just as broke and prone to the same problems as OutHouse and Exploder

Case at point
Lotus123 trashed the code on leap years and messed up 1900
[cant remember is it was or wasnt a leap year]
01 Jan 1900 is the starting point for integer dates [000000 = 01 Jan 1900]
MS had to put the same error into Excel or the dates would have been mismatched

I've been using Thunderbird for awhile now and I really like it. Having only one SMTP server is kind of a pain in the ass but It's not like I can use Surpass's servers... I have all kinds of blacklisting problems.

I didn't see this earlier. In Thunderbird you can use whatever SMTP server you are authorized to use for an account - 10 accounts - 10 different SMTPs. Not a problem at all.

Now what is a problem is - unless you install the plugin - the SMTP servers don't have a nifty unique name for easy identification. so managing that list is a real nightmare ( before the plugin ).

dont feel bad at all. i cursed loudly several times until i found that plugin. because honestly, without it, its completely user unfriendly for managing multiple accounts. theres also a good plug in to retrieve ALL mail with just one click. boy what an idea huh?

Right now I have 13 different email accounts that feed into Thunderbird on my labtop. All from 5 different domains. There may be a better way of doing it but I don't mind the 10 second wait for it to check all of the mailboxes and I would probably mess something up.

Just to let you know, I dont have 13 email address for myself. Just one from each domain. The rest I monitor for various companies.

Sam,

Would it be too much to ask where the plugin to download all mail can be found?

Thanks
