I opened a ticket with support about this and received a confirmation that they received it. I had to list my ISP email address so I could receive a reply. I posted this on the forum as well because I can't believe that there aren't others experiencing the same thing.
About a month ago I was receiving emails only intermittently for a week. I opened a ticket but it was never resolved, the email went back to normal as if it fixed itself. I lost at least a dozen important emails during that time. It's the same thing all over again. I have sent several test emails and have had friends send me emails but I receive absolutely no emails from any email account in my reseller account or any of my customers' accounts. My Outlook Express goes through the motions of send & receive but receives nothing. I checked some of the accounts with Squirrel and Horde Mail but they all showed no mail in any of the inboxes. My default email address averages at least 15 spam emails per hour but I have received nothing for at least 2 hours. This has to be resolved because neither me nor my clients can afford to have their incoming emails forever lost in cyberspace. I used my ISP email address for this ticket so I can receive a reply since I'm receiving nothing on any of my reseller accounts. |

Catfish Ed,
I am a new user and find your post troubling. I have not set up email accounts for my domain yet, but this kind of problem scares me. Have you been helped with this yet? Was the problem resolved satisfactorily? |

No one else replied to this ticket... no one else is having this type of problem. I thought since Ed didn't reply anymore about this that it was solved. Ed, you out there?

I'm sorry renaluelle and Teq that I didn't post this reply sooner but I forgot all about it. It was resolved the same day. I had the same experience with my previous host once before so I guess it can happen with any host. I have a hunch it happens once in awhile to a lot of people regardless of what host they're using but they wouldn't notice it unless they check their email accounts several times in an 8 hour period. If I only checked it once a day I would just think I had a slow email day. :P
