Dodgy Email Server?

Has anyone else experienced problems with scripts sending emails?
I often have emails not being sent by my forum and other scripts. Theyre all configured correctly and were working fine previously but I find I am not getting informed of things like PM notifications etc
This is happening on a couple of surpass servers I think

I have personally never had this problem. I have an automatic email script that runs every night and all 70+ people get their emails just fine...

Never done the subscription thing myself, but I just subscribed to this forum, and I will post back my results when someone posts..

I do get emails when I receive PM's, that I can verify...

I have the same problems by not getting PM notifications from several forums and also not getting user account confirmations when registering on certain forums either

Not getting PMs or confirmations, sounds like a problem with the forum itself and not an email server.

Are there any filters in place in your email configs? What ISP do you use? There have been reports of users on AOL (and Earthlink?) having receipt problems.

I use Comcast and I have no problems receiving emails. Check your error logs. There might be a hint there.

I got a subscription notice this time but thats what its been like - sometimes I get them sometimes I dont. It's not the forum because I use Invision Board and its worked fine on a different server.
I'm on NTL and receiveing mail through [a different] server of my own
