Email Problems!! Can someone help
Taking a chance here that someone may have an answer for this. I use Outlook Express on my PC. I made the mistake of trying to forward a rather large bunch of mails to a gmail account. EVERY time I turn my PC on now, OE is trying to send that batch of mail and I get an error message after awhile. Only then can new mails start coming in. I THOUGHT somewhere back in my memory there was a little place to click to STOP sending mails or at least go into the out box and delete the offending outgoing mail....but I can't find anything like that. This is an old PC with WinME. I was gonna call tech support at Micrsoft but they are charging $9.00 a call now and I am just not gonna pay that. I'd like to get this garbage outta there before I give this PC to my sister or she won't be able to use OE.
Can anyone suggest something other than a sledge hammer? Earth1 ![]() |

a sledge hammer might not work out too well... i don't use outlook express, but i use outlook 2003. there is an icon on the bottom right hand corner where you can right click and hit cancel. try that and let us know how that works...

Make sure Outlook Express is not running, search for outbox.dbx. Usually something like this C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\....
Delete or rename - and then restart Outlook Express. This will recreate an empty Outbox. |

Someone else said to right click on something and then hit cancel...but there's no ay to DO THAT! Yor solution sounds viable! Earth1 |
