Yea i can atleast try.
Your mailserver is responding. In the DNS settings at your registrar for your domain. You need to add mail.danielcrowe.org as an MX-record for mail. Usally its MX10. You need todo this so the mail know where to go.

okay...so i tried to go in and change that...it said that i am not using surpass' nameservers, even though i am. i looked my domain up on whois, and it said 'transfer prohibited' - would that have anything to do with it?
i don't know very much about websites at all...so if you can still help, i'd greatly appreciate it. |

Yea Sure. go to your registrar and then go to your controlpanel for the domain. Look after "Registrar-lock" Somewhere in your settings it may differ from registrar to registrar where it is. And uncheck the box. If you are not able to unlock your domain you need to contact your registrar so they can do it for you.

I posted this in another topic, but thought it might help someone here
![]() My account now uses Port 26 for sending email. You can change yours to see if it works as follows (for Outlook Express): 1. Click Tools > Account Settings. 2. Select your email account and then click properties. 3. Click the Advanced tab. 4. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) to 26. Try sending a message. |
