I'll walk you through it for now, maybe I'll do screen shots later.
1) Tools > Accounts 2) Add > Mail... 3) Display Name: [Your Name] 4) E-mail Address: [your.address domain.tld]5) Incoming Mail Server: [mail.domain.tld] 6) Outgoing Mail Server: [mail.domain.tld] 7) Account Name: [your.address domain.tld]8) Password: [your password] 9) Click [Finish] and you're done.

And that give me (where mydomain.tld is my real domain):
"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.mydomain.tld', Server: 'mail.mydomain.tld', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E" Did I miss something or is it time to contact support?

try telnetting to your domain's SMTP port. Type this within a command prompt
Code:
telnet yourdomain.tld 25

I get "Connecting To slotteconsulting.com...Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed" ... so it's a case for support.

Is there an alternative to mail.domain.tld for Outlook Express Outgoing mail [SMPT] on port 25 for surpass servers...
My broadband ISP blocks port 25 so while I can recieve I cannnot send. I have to dialup a 56KB modem to send mail. Just discovered that for an everyone.net, normally free web based email, that I have POP3 access to, as I'm the webmaster, that changing the port to 2525 allowed me to send mail via ADSL for the first time in a year. But their Outgoing mail [SMTP] address is different being smtp.domain.tld.. What can I use on Surpass when the ISP blocks port 25? |

I think I had the same problem with port 25 blocked.
