When you configure mailman for handling of a mail list, it has a preconfigured html page, which is for subscribers to handle their unsubs/subscribes/vacation, etc.
Within the mailman admin section, there is a link to this and a few other mailman-created html pages. Those links are to bring you to a page where the code is displayed and you can edit it. I cannot ftp to site and edit the page; it's located elsewhere on the server. I just wanted to know if there are any restrictions on editing of the mailman-created html page; the one in question being the info page, which is for subscribers. We would prefer that it keep the look of our web site. To do that means using ssi's, css,and including our logo. I didn't want us to go to the work involved in doing that, if only minor html modifications can be done -- ie, later find that it won't run a ssi Clear? |

yap, and very easy to do...
just like you customize a forum you can do this... to bad that you cant ftp, but there is a Cpanel with the thing called [b]File Manager" you go to the directory that you have mailman in and poke around a bit.. theres probably a dir' inside it called pics, or images, and one of them is the logo... just test each one to see what it is and what you want to change just upload with the file manager (just mave it with the same name as the pic you want to replace, upload it to the dir' where the pic is in, and dont forget to check "overwright" files when you upload...) that way you dont have to mess with the code.. if you want to change the fonts etc' find the .css files and change them to what you want.. clear? ![]() |
