i have searched the forums, and i am sure i have missed this, so please help or direct me to the link to the proper topic if it has been up before.
I am having problems getting the email to log out - horde, neo and squril all have this problem - i go to log out and then if i log back in the info is still there. the problem is that email is checked at a station where several people check it, and it leaves security holes open for others to access email accounts that are not theirs. :frust: any help would be appreciated. also, another one that i know has been answered, but i could not find it when i searched the forums - where is the server info located - was going to add that to my signature, but am not sure where to look it up. thanks again

Are the computers Windows machines? It's probably an Internet Explorer problem.
My advice is to install Netscape if you can or some other browser. No one will use it. They'll use Internet Explorer. Let everyone else use Internet Explorer, it doesn't have good security at all. What kind of server info do you need? Right now our servers are in Parsippany, New Jersey, while our offices are in Orlando, FL. We are currently getting a datacenter set up here in Orlando and will eventually move all the accounts to the servers down here. Our servers in NJ and the ones we are building here are Intel P4s, 2.4ghz and they have 80gb hard drives. We put about 250 accounts on each server and monitor all servers 24/7 so that we can post everything that occurs here on the forum. I think I have been quite revealing, if you have other questions let me know. ![]()

Cassady, I am assuming you are on a Windows machine and using IE. Solution should be very simple. Close the browser window when you are done.

OK - the browser - unfortunatly is ie (ugh) and i can not get them to change it. the reason is it is at a fire station and due to the number of people installing anything but the base load is a bad thing for numerous reasons. I have tried the closing of the window, clearing cookies, etc and it still keeps user and password info. i have made sure not to have the user info kept in thru the ie options. i use mozilla firebird myself, but got vetoed on having it installed at the station
i might try to sneak in and update the browser and see if that may change the settings.as far as server info - i have seen where the server is listed in several signatures on the posts here, and wanted to add that to my signature in case it was a problem related to a individual server, etc. thanks
