Dynablock Blocking Some Mail?
As of 1:15 PST on Wed 11/2/05, we've been unable to send any email that doesn't use our hosted domain name at Surpass as the return address. The Eudora error message is
Can't send to ". The server gives this reason: '550 http://njabl/org/dynablock.html'. We work for several clients from our office, and often use a client's domain in the return email address, but use "nifty" as the SMTP server. That is, I use all of me hosted_domain.com, me client1.com, me client2.com, etc. I'm trying to figure why this procedure, which has worked for 10 years or so, stopped all of a sudden.I suspect it's spam prevention related, but I don't know who changed what. I didn't see anything in the "nifty" threads about a change in policy. Has anyone else experienced this? Did Surpass change something that doesn't allow me to use anything but the hosted domain name any more? How is njabl.org involved? Is there any way to register domains that are okay for outgoing mail? Thanks for any help. |
