This is the message I get when I try to send mail with Outlook Express, can you tell me how to fix it??
An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Testing', Account: 'Tiny Tots Rabbitry', Server: 'mail.tinytotsrabbitry.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0B :ranting: And can anyone possibly help me with this sometime today?? I emailed support about this yesterday, and it took them till thismorning to reply. And I came up with this error after configuring it the way they told me too. Now I can't get any response from them |

are you saying "My outgoing server requires authentication"
also your userid should be user%domain.com or try to use your admin ID (no or %)

I'm not sure what the message is. I just know that I can't SEND mail from any of my email accounts I have with my domain through Outlook Express. I can receive my emails just fine, it just won't let me send anything.

In your account settings under Outlook Express. Look for an option that says something along the lines of "My Server Requires Authentication." This will be for outgoing email. Check that little box, and it should be resolved.

Ok, now that I completely deleted everything out of Outlook Express, removed all my email accounts, and added them back in I'm getting this for EVERY email I try to send. It's rejecting every address I try to send to. Anyone have any ideas of how to help me????? :pleasehelp:
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'wagnersbunnyhaven chilitech.net'. Subject 'Re: Home page design', Account: 'mail.tinytotsrabbitry.net (1)', Server: 'mail.tinytotsrabbitry.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '451 Temporary local problem - please try later', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 451, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 |
