How many connections per hour?

Could someone please tell me how many times per hour a customer can attempt an email account connection. They claim they currently have Outlook setup to check every 5mins and they are now getting the following error:

"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your password was rejected. Server Response: You have exceeded the number of connections you are permitted to make per hour. Please wait a couple of minutes and try again. Port 110: Secure SSL. No server error."

Thanks for any feedback.

Brad

I should have searched before asking =(

Thanks for the feedback. I can understand the need for a limit but when it's inclusive of the whole domain I thinks it's a little unfair. We have unlimited email accounts but this rule really hampers the use of more than a few accounts for a business =(

I checked the server earlier, it's currently on unlimited settings. You're still having the problem?

Kayla I've just updated by signature to include the domains and server currently affected.

Pass7

I understand the need for limits believe me. I just thought it would apply per account not domain?

Cheers,

Brad

Oh Pass7, I was checking Pilot earlier.

I will check the server, see the current activity and if I can bump up the hourly limit, I will.

Usually Reseller servers are more active.. so we can't have them set to unlimited...
