problem with incoming mail.

i am on pass17, i have an open ticket but i am getting kind of rushed as i have not recieved any mail for 2 days.

i can send email between accounts within my domain but when i send mail from outside (gmail or hotmail) they never get delivered, so far i have only recieved one return message which is the following:

<<< 421 Unexpected failure, please try later
<XXXXwar-games.com>... Deferred: 421 Unexpected failure, please try later
Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours
Will keep trying until message is 5 days old

the error, 421 Unexpected failure appears to be an error within the exim mail server having to do with file permissions...

i have three domains on my reseller account and none of them are recieving mail and i kind of rely on having my email work decently or at least queing the mail and delivering within a reasonable time.

so far two techs have "run a script" to fix the problem, but i am pretty sure it requires a little more in depth repair.

if anyone has run into this problem, it started on the 15th (maybe late 14th) and is still persisting.

i can send outgoing mail through the smtp server from my home system and through webmail but my inboxes are empty on webmail and through my client at home.

any help would be appreciated.
