Kayla, can you actually reach it from IP external to the building/datacenter? I've tried it from home and work on both Windows and Linux based machines and that port just does not respond.

Kayla,

For what its worth, I tried telnet to pass65 and 66 and it does not connect on port 198 like it does for pass52, pass3, pass63. See attached.

I am able to access them both at work and home.

Trying 66.7.200.85...
Connected to pass66.dizinc.com (66.7.200.85).
Escape character is '^]'.
220-pass66.dizinc.com ESMTP Exim 4.52 #1 Fri, 03 Nov 2006 14:58:46 -0500
220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,
220 and/or bulk e-mail.

But since Tom sees the same issue - this is really strange for those 2 servers.

Still checking into it.

Please try again - since these are both the newest servers (65 and 66) maybe there was something going on with the APF tables- they have been updated. Let me know if it works now.

Unfortunately, now Port 198 is not working on PASS52 - getting error:
"- Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"

I checked via telnet (see attached) and can no longer connect on port 198. Note: PASS52 was down earlier today, and when it came back up, my outgoing mail was no longer working on Port 198. I've added this to my earlier Trouble Ticket OJS-448992 on the outage - which was down, then up, then down again but now up.

The server itself is being strange right now though - cPanel is not restarting.

I will post back when everything is normal. Including 198.
