I see what's going on here. The Mailman version on old host is earlier than Surpass's version. Latest version does not show a "base url" option.]

What you were saying about server space equalling mail.kimbwei.com. I think I got it! In any event, I did what you said, created a new list and found that it's true that Surpass links my mailing list base URL to my mail partition. That was a great heads up, PatrickB. Thanks!

Now, the sad news: all administrative commands and the archive for all mailing lists except the one I just created [Kucinich coordinators] point to my old vhost. And!!! Since the new version of Mailman doesn't give me the option of changing the base URL, I can't change this.

I'm not even sure those lists were actually installed on Surpass servers. So I'm back to square one - how do I move my Mailman mailing lists? I'm going into my third month of trying to find an answer to this question. I don't understand how so many companies can facilitate Mailman lists and none of them [according to Google searches anyway] provide any clue on how to move them to alternate servers.

I'm sure the answer would seem easy if we knew what it was.

As for Spanish site > let me know what you need when you're ready.

Wow, do you want to see something totally messed up?

•Go to http://mail.kimbwei.com/mailman/listinfo/k...snj_kimbwei.com
> click on Archives
•At http://dime31.dizinc.com/pipermail/kucinic...nj_kimbwei.com/
> click on More info about this list
•At http://dime31.dizinc.com/mailman/listinfo/...snj_kimbwei.com
> click on Overview of all kimbwei.com mailing lists [At bottom]
•At http://dime31.dizinc.com/mailman/listinfo
SEE LISTING OF MAILING LISTS > DOESN'T CONTAIN MINE and CONTAINS SOMEONE ELSE'S LIST THAT ISN'T MINE.

Another thing that's messed up:
Only one list shows [the Kucinich coordinator's list], and there are supposed to be five [5] lists.

Hmmm. Happy Thanksgiving, by the way.

The last link you sent me shows a total of 6 lists, 5 of which are yours.

Yes,

Last night they weren't there but today after support reconfigured things they are there!

Not only that, but my lists are now, thank G-d, functional.

It seems like 95% of my problem was not being able to make the Surpass team understand that moving my mailing lists was the part of my move that I needed their help with and it was also the most important part of my move.

My lists still don't appear at http://kimbwei.com/mailman/admin/ as they should, but this is a minor matter.

Thanks for your interest and support. Did you enjoy the holiday?
