when it comes to email and filtering. Before the upgrade all spam was labeled SPAM in the subject line. OE was setup to put this in a folder. Now I don't get any change in the subject line. I made sure SpamAssasin was enabled. Is there anything else I nedd to do?

As an aside I got SPAM picked up in GMail and when I looked at it I found this:

X-Spam-Status: No, score=
X-Spam-Score:
X-Spam-Bar:
X-Spam-Flag: NO

Is SpamAssasin even looking at it?

Ok I disabled and enabled SpamAssasin twice and now it seems to work. HOWEVER. Prior to the upgrade SpamAssasin made the email an attachment and sent a message "Spam Detection Software running on SH99......." Now it sends the message through marked ****SPAM**** in the subject line. My OE filter was set to find "SPAM Detection Software" in the message now that won't work. I could set up a filter using the word SPAM in the subject but that would move a lot of legitimate mail.
Any way to go back to the way it was?

set up a filter to look for "****SPAM****"

anyone that sends legitimate email with that in the subject line is a dumbass lol

Actually, the filter should be "***SPAM***"

Here's an actual renamed subject header:

Subject: ***SPAM*** Miss you

Only 3 *s on each side.

You're right it is 3. I could never get that to work before because I know I tried it but it works now... So be it.
