Forwarding to external MX on a different port (2525)?
I thought I had successfully done this in cPanel but now it doesn't seem to be working. I have a server that I'd like to have handle my email but it's with an ISP that blocks port 25. How can I have my domain name point to the external MX on port 2525?
In cPanel 11, when I select the domain to have forward and then type in mydomain.dyndns.org:2525, it gives back the response that the new primary MX is local and the secondary MX will be my address:2525. Seems it should be working. Any ideas? Searches here haven't turned up anything. |

Open a ticket with support and tell them you want your mail delivered to a remote server.
I had this done when I set one of my emails to google hosted mail. Emails from the Internet went to google hosted mail, but mail from my server SH110 would be delivered locally.

Thanks I just did and I'll let you know if it works since they'll have to forward to a different port since my ISP blocks 25.
