/mail/cur
hello, one of customers has a directory (mail/cur) which is about 40megs.
It has nearly all the quota of the account. My customer uses pop3 for mails. and he set it up to delete mails after 20days. however the mails are not deleted although it has been more than 20 days. could somebody explain what /mail/cur is? and also what can be the reason of not deleting the mails via pop3? also does it have anything to do with the maildir conversion? thanks in advance..

~/mail/cur is the default mailbox for the account -- for example, if your cPanel username is "myusername" then all mail sent to myusername
yourdomain.com will go to ~/mail/ instead of ~/mail/yourdomain.com/address/Your client probably has a catchall set up that is delivering messages to the default account.
