Mailinglists
Hi all,
I'm looking for a clear easy to use mailinglist. I'm a designer and built a site for a music artist. Someone out of the crew needs to be able to send a bi-weekly newsletter out to about 1500 registered users. At first I used a plugin within wordpress (on which the site is based) to send out a specific post but this is causing me to exceed to max. emails a hr so it's no longer a good option. What I'm looking for is something that doesn't allow hundreds of options and looks easy so that anybody can log on and send a email through it On top of that I have to be able to integrate the registration process within the site. For example: http://www.lamelodia.com I need to be able to have people register through the 'contact' part of the site. Thanks in advance!!!

I've been having this problem with a site that wants me to host them on my reseller. They have a membership system with built-in functionality to send newsletters, but there's no throttle to limit it to x amount per hour.
I was talking about it with removed and he suggested that I try PHP List. It's a free script, seems simple enough. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but maybe it's what you need.

Depending on what package you are on, Cpanel has a couple of main settings,
Go to WHM and Tweak Settings (its near the top of the list) In the MAIL section you will see both The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited): The number of times users are allowed to check their mail using pop3 per hour: Is Dada Mail still in vogue as it used to have a method of sending a set number per hour.
