Anyone having a problem receiving pop email?
All of my sites are up but I can't get any email from any of them. I am accessing through pop and getting the message "could not connect to server, connection was refused".
Is anyone else having a problem like this or know how to fix it? Thanks. |

Is your ISP by any chance blocking outgoing requests on port 25? Many ISPs limit this to addresses within their networks -- try connecting to port 26 instead!

removed, I don't think that's the case because eight gmail accounts are still coming in and out thru pop as usual. It's my one verizon email and all of my hosted domain emails that are doing it. I'm using thunderbird, it doesn't show me which port. Do you know of a way to check? Thanks.

i'm having a similar issue for my domains hosted on the rseller via through surpass.
i'm checking my email through outlook express and things was FINE until i check this morning. i get this: The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'questions4shanelle shanellegray.net', Server: 'mail.shanellegray.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0Eeverything was working fine the othe day. my outgoing is suppose to be on port 198 but if i do hat then i receive but i can't send out... HELP!!! i sent a surpport ticket. |
