Email piping

Hi All,
I'm having a problem with Cpanel (v11.17.0) email piping. I have set up the email forwarding in Cpanel to pipe to a perl program on my system with 755 permissions. I have the correct hashbang in the program and have entered the path as the new Cpanel version requires. I have also set up another forward to send a copy to another valid email address to assure myself that the email is being received. When I send an email to this address (no-replydomain.com), I receive a message at the "forward to" address, but my pipe perl program is not being executed. There are no bugs in the perl program as it is simply writing the time to an output file for now. The perl program works fine from the command line.

Any thoughts on why my email piping isn't working?
Where can I find the error logs (if there are any errors at all)?
