[Answered] mails from php has servername in source
hello,
i am sending emails from my web application. these emails are activation mails, password reminders etc. now, i have to questions: 1-my email messages go directly to junk folder in hotmail. is there any way that any of you succeeded to send emails directly to inbox? 2- i see in the source of my email messages a line: Received: from servername.dizinc.com (servername.dizinc.com [ip bla bla]) i want this to be my domain record such as mail.mydomain.com is there any way to do this? thanks..

1. Adding SPF records to the domain will usually be enough to solve the Hotmail problem. Support should be able to do that for you.
2. Only way would be to get a dedicated server or VPS account. All emails sent from a reseller box are going to have the server's hostname in the source.
