sent email spam
I recently set up a new shared hosting account. When I send email from my Surpass email (testing to my Yahoo email), Yahoo dumps it into the "Bulk" mail folder.
I searched the forums here and couldn't find much (other than the AOL blacklisting issue, and a lot on Spam Assassin). I also searched the internet a bit and have seen it mentioned that Surpass mail servers are often flagged as spam-senders. So far, I've been pretty happy with the way things here are laid out (minus a few learning-curve hiccups). But I can't have my email being dumped into Bulk/Junk email folders. Is there something I can change in my cPanel to alleviate this? Or are there some docs/threads that I missed? Thank you Last edited by PaulyWally; February 8th, 2008 at 12:41 PM. |

What you need is to see what SPAM rules your email is violating. send one to me -- sales / at / mybrainhost <dot> com

I checked through gmail also... seems OK there. I guess Yahoo is kinda picky. As for SPF records, I'm not quite sure how to go about that since Yahoo domains is the DNS host. Email Blacklist Check - See if your server is blacklisted

People still use yahoo?? I never knew... :P
 I gave up on yahoo after they screwed up yahoo chat so badly. Only thing i use yahoo for now is flickr.
