deleting files in /mail/cur
does anyone here know how do i delete all the "junk" emails in /mail/cur folder?
currently there are about 640MB of junks in there, about 50000+ spams. I tried to use webmail, well, u know the pain right? So, i tried logging in using pop mail, so that my mail client downloads all the junks, then i can delete them locally. Well, this doesnt work well since i am outside US and the connection is painfully slow. Someone, somewhere in the forum said that i can use cron job, but can someone tell me how do i set the cron job, and what's the absolute path for the /mail/cur folder? assume my username for hosting is "something24" without the quotes of course. Thanks in advance. |
