I know that heading will probably flag as a :cen: spam thing - so i will explain - our fire department sends out text messages over sms and email, but our provider doesn't allow more than 25 messages at once - this means that some of the messages on run information do not get sent, which is a very important thing for us.
do the servers here allow mutiple messages sent out? or possibly a 3rd party system that i can use? the way we have it now we set up is email one address and it sends out info - but we need a way to send to between 20 and 70 members at the same time depending on dive runs, medical info, or fire runs. does anyone have any ideas? thanks

It should pose no problems. As long as no one complains that your domain is spamming then you shouldn't have to worry about it.

![]() Did you ever get that mailing list software you were asking about way back when? If so, how do you like it?

Yeah, I did get it! True, there is a feature or two that isn't there that I personally was expecting, but it is still MUCH better than what I was using before and it turned out to be a pretty good deal because I've seen systems with less features and stability than this and they go for about $100 more a pop! The only problem I really had was with a lot of bounced messages since I kept going over Mango's quota, but once the quota was set at a stable number, I was able to modify the program to only send that many an hour and then everything worked like a charm! (Things have been going even better on Fresh since I was smart this time and asked about the quota *before* I sent any messages, thus avoiding the problem.) My subscription rate has more than *doubled* since I starting using it, since I am able to offer HTML mail and more list options!
So far, an $85 well spent... ![]()
