what surpass can tell me is what the cron job commends here are...
all I need is to run a file every minute, that all. but I don't know the commend for it so... anyway thanks for trying EG... if anyone knows how to do a simple cron job let me know, this is URGENT because I'm leaving for two weeks after sunday, on a vecation so... I will open my site on sunday and your all welcome to use it, its ready mostly, but I just want to set up emails for my users and I'm kinda done for this stage... so, if you know how to do cron jobs share your knowledge! LOL

oh my god! I have been trying to figure this out for hours and the problem wasn't with my script and settings, I can make it work without a cron job, of course it will be slower but its worth it! the problem is with surpass, this is driving me crazy! the email is messed up on my account!!! I make a new account with Cpanel and when I try to login I can't, I KNOW I'm using the right user name and password.. what I do is, I go to:

Cpanel>>Mail Manger>>Add / Remove accounts>>Add Account>> I choose a user name and password, and then I return here>>I choose read webmail>> I try to login

and I can't NO ACCOUNT will let me login except the one that came with Cpanel, the one you can't delete... websterw... here I can LOGIN, but emails that I know should be here are not, I tried sending email there and nothing...

long story short the EMAIL at my surpass account does not work!
that why my great script won't work!!! I don't know why either! anyway, this isn't anything I can fix, its surpass job so... [size=14]FIX MY EMAIL!!![/SIZE=14] this is very importent and URGENT!!! because I'm leaving on sunday so I got to make it work TODAY!!!

Okay, I think I figured outmost of your e-mail.

It appears you have built a web mail client that is suppose to update ever minute via the use of a cron job. If that's the case, damn that alot.

If you are tring to access your mail via the web, there are several options for you to choose from, i think mail.com, bigfoot.com and several others offer the POP3 mail option, the one you are tring to create from scratch. Since do you not want to use Horde on NeoMail.

If you do not want to use Outlook, for a mail client - then tru Eurodra or Pegasas (sp) - or you can use the one build into Mozilla, you do use Mozilla, right?

Do a Google search on CRON and see what comes up - you may be supprised.

PS - the problem is not with surpass, everything is working fine.

ok, I don't mind using neomail and horde but I made a script that lets my users create an account and use it as an email. just like hotmail/msn yahoo and a bounch of other sites... now the thing is, I thought of doing it this way.. when an email is sent to a

websterworlds.com email it will be deliverd to my main email account (websterw). and a script that runs every minute, by a crone job takes the messeges from there and downloads them to my program... this is to easyier for me to make than make the emails go stright to the users accounts.... anyway, I thought about it and because I don't have SSH access I had to make a diffrent script that doesn't need a cron job, it took me a while to do it but it works 100% of course if I had SSH all I would have had to do is add one line to a file but..
I did do a search on cron jobs by the way, but all I came up with are commands for SSH, I need commands for Cpanel.... nevermind cron jobs, I solved that one, but my email doesn't work, I can't login to any of the account the regular way... wait, I checked it now, I CAN login to my email accounts?! wierd, than the script should work now... I'll try it...

yes! I can send messeges, this is so cool!
people can get a 5meg email for free, and use it to send messeges and the skin I made for this is sooo swwwweeeet!!!!

Hey WW, I just registered and sent a test email. Everything's working fine. I realize you already tested everything but I thought you might want to know that it worked for a new user.
