X-PopBeforeSMTPSenders

I've got an interesting "issue". When I sent messages to people other than those at my domain, a header is inserted into the message - I'm assuming by the hosting server. I think it's inserter by the Surpass servers because it is inserted into my email message no matter which client I use, except the web client.

X-PopBeforeSMTPSenders: account1 mydomain.com, account2 mydomain.com, account3 mydomain.com, mymainaccountid

is inserted into my email messages. It doesn't contain all of the accounts I have created on my domains. (I added spaces so it would not interpret those as email addresses.

Is there any way to stop this from being inserted into the mesages? I don't like having email addresses advertised in every message I send. Anyone else seen this?

I've never seen that. I'd better send myself an email and see what's going on.

What mail client are you using? does it happen when you send from HORDE too?

I tried Thunderbird and Outlook Express. The header does NOT appear when I send myself email or anyone on my domains, which is why I really thought it was weird. I noticed it when I sent email to a mailing list and to my work email address.

When I used the HORDE web client the header was not inserted.

when you say your domains, do you mean "mydomain.com" to another "mydomain.com" user?

Or to any domain that is hosted by your account?

Hey - you're in atlanta too!

When I send email to any of my accounts/forwarders/add-on-domains that are hosted by surpass, that header is not inserted into the messages. Now, I have not tried sending email to someone else that is hosted by Surpass.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that in the list of those email addresses, they are all addresses that are actual email accounts I created in cPanel and not all of them either -- all but one, really. No forwarders are in that list.

Odd.
