Just curious, I create a new account in the CPanel under Mail Management, but it's not a new account, I can browse the new folder created and read their e-mail, and without applying filters every 5 minutes, all his e-mail comes to my folder.

using Horde btw.

This is the way I do it and it works
  • Mail Manager
  • Add/Remove Accounts
  • At the bottom> Add Account
  • Email, enter the name he/she wants, make sure the domain is pointing to the one you want!
  • Enter their password and disk quota
  • Create

Everything works fine after that. But you can't access their e-mail account from the CP with web mail, cause you are logged in as you, you have to go to www.yourdomain.com/webmail and log in as them, and they will be able to do it that way. Any other questions just post, I will try to help.

Hmm well you might want to try to look under surpasshelp.com! Read the extensive cpanel manual!
FYI -- I had a heck of a time finding the surpass help PDF at the surpasshelp.com web page. I must have clicked on everything, before I found it through an entry at the bottom of text ret'd by search function.

I wonder if it's possible to create a direct hyperlink to the PDF from both the surpasshelp.com site. as well as on the main page of the cpanel. The latter would be particularly helpful as that is generally where we are when a question occurs.

If a direct link is at the surpasshelp.com site, someone tell me where it is. Driving me nuts; or maybe I already am nuts. :-)
