I have a client who is switching to my hosting service. Their webmail used to be mail.domain.com. I'd like to keep this the same for them. when I go to that address on the server I get the apache page. Is there a way to set up a login page that will direct them to their webmail accounts by going to mail.domain.com or do they need to go to www.domain.com/webmail?
Thanks |

I believe that the mail. subdomain is a reservered one, mainly cause it is used for the pop3 servers. I use webmail.mydomain.com Easy enough to remember...

I don't believe the mail subdomain is reserved. I created it in cPanel. Then I created a redirection to go from mail.domain.com to www.domain.com/webmail. Works great.

That's weird, cause I remember trying it, and it wouldn't work. Oh well, I have every accustomed to webmail. now, so be it...
