Image: http://surpasshosting.com/tutorials/images/mailing5.jpg

The last installation page with give you all the details of your newly installed PHPList script, including a link to the admin panel and the option to email yourself the details. This is a great feature for records.

Neer opening blinds...

...
I was cleaning the kitchen and all of a sudden I heard some loud bangs on the window.
I walk out and there's 2 birds lying down by the wall of the house.
So I move them onto the table (since I don't want the dogs eating them).
One broke it's leg, and the other looked fine.
After a while, one of them flew away, and the other didn't fly away until my sister grabbed it and tried moving it.
It's still chilling in our tree though...
I hope it's okay.
So I'm never opening the blinds, or I'll put something to make it looks like there's a window or something there.

By the way, the bonsai is still alive, but I'm not sure how long that'll last because we've hit a rainy season type thing and it's not getting any sunlight.

So how are you doing?:catitchy:

Hi, i have a shared account on SH116, and i keep getting "connection timed out" when I try to connect from another server i have using ncftp.

The weird thing is, it works on my other account on SH119. I can connect and transfer files fine.

I can also connect to SH116 using my FTP client fine. The only thing not working is that I can't connect using ncftp.

Could be my ncftp is being wonky?

Hope someone can help. Thanks!

FMFP is a great tool to use when creating an easy to use FAQ page. In this tutorial I'll show you how to install it via Fantastico and how to use this very easy to setup FAQ script.

*Installing FMFP*

Once in Fantastico (Located in your cPanel), scroll down to the category named FAQ and click on the link FAQMastFlexPlus.

Image: http://surpasshosting.com/tutorials/images/faq1.jpg

On the overview page click on the new installation link.

Image: http://surpasshosting.com/tutorials/images/faq2.jpg

The next page is where you will fill out all of your login details and also where you would like the installation to be installed in. (ie: domain.com/faq)

Image: http://surpasshosting.com/tutorials/images/faq3.jpg

The last install overview page is where the link to the admins panel is and everything that was created and installed into the directory you created. You are even able to email the contents of that page to yourself below in the email input box. Good to have for records and backup.

FMFP is a great tool to use when creating an easy to use FAQ page. In this tutorial I'll show you how to install it via Fantastico and how to use this very easy to setup FAQ script.

Installing FMFP

Once in Fantastico (Located in your cPanel), scroll down to the category named FAQ and click on the link FAQMastFlexPlus.

On the overview page click on the new installation link.

The next page is where you will fill out all of your login details and also where you would like the installation to be installed in. (ie: domain.com/faq)

The last install overview page is where the link to the admins panel is and everything that was created and installed into the directory you created. You are even able to email the contents of that page to yourself below in the email input box. Good to have for records and backup.

videos skipping on new server

We have a company that supplies website video actors to walk out on to websites. We set up a new dedicated server with Core 2 Quad, 3 gig ram and my videos are having a problem skipping. We tested them on another server that wasn't in the surpass mix and it didn't skip. My question is did we miss something setting this up? The server we tested doesn't have any special video software on it. My other dedicated server in this mix also has a problem with videos skipping, so i thought i would move to a different one. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help

When I add a domain, domain.com automatically gets redirected to www.domain.com.

Is there any way to disable this behaviour so that when someone goes to domain.com, they stay there, but when someone visits www.domain.com they get redirected to domain.com (the opposite of what is happening now)
