I don't need reseller hosting but I do wish they offered Windows plans.

HostDime has Windows plans (the Surpass parent company): Windows Hosting, Cold Fusion Hosting, ASP.NET Hosting by HostDime

Windows hosting is so tedious. I don't understand the attraction.

Probably because of the cost of the windows server licenses as well as the staff that know how to work on windows servers

I can only see one plus, and that's if you have full control of the server for say ESRI software for GIS stuff, that unfortunately is mostly windows based, though there are some Linux versions popping up with recent software releases. It's essentially map server software, we run it at my work.

Other than that, I can't see any attraction either. LAMP is just so more appealing to me, I think hosting on Window's would be difficult a pain. Then again I've only *really* worked with Server 2000 + backoffice. So I can't judge Server 2003 and 2008 much.

But offering a diverse set of hosting options isn't a bad idea.

That's only true if they're experienced and trained to deal with Windows hosting. It'd be pretty terrible to offer Windows hosting if you couldn't provide a certain level of quality assurance (eg: if it breaks, can they fix it?).
