Hi, long time lurker, first time poster.

I figured it was about time to introduce myself and maybe even get to posting!

So as you've probably ascertained by now, my name is Rob. I'm 20, and I currently live in a small town in western Massachusetts (USA), though I'm quickly coming to the point where I can't wait to get out of here, and possibly move somewhere where not everybody knows my business. Plus someplace where the town doesn't shut down at night would be nice.

I'm one half of the team behind SMVNetwork.com, which right now consists of like one article on a Mambo site and a bunch of hosted sites. (What can I say? The other sites take up a lot of our time.) The other half of the team is Tony, who's posted here once or twice as DavoteK. I'm in charge of the technical aspects of the sites (read: I'm the one complaints about stuff not working go to

), and Davo pays for the site, chucks me some space on our plan to mess around with, and does whatever technical stuff I don't get around to.

I've also been responsible for selecting webhosts for SMVNetwork.com over the years (don't even get me started on that aspect of the job

). I don't quite remember how I stumbled across Surpass, but I'm quite glad I did. We've been through the wringer with webhosts in our day, but Surpass has been the best, easily. We're looking forward to hosting with Surpass for a long time to come. And who knows, maybe someday we'll even add meaningful content to some of our sites!

(We actually do have one site we work on, ShockwaveSE.com, that's pretty big and updated often...heck, it's probably the reason we can never keep the other sites updated on a regular basis. (The hobby known as e-fedding is a harsh mistress. *nods*) )

Anyway, just thought I'd step out of the shadows and introduce myself. See you around!

Hmm...that sounds like a few towns in Western, MA I know of.

I went to college at Westfield State for a year ... dated a guy who lived in Greenfield. I'm decently familiar with everything in between.

Thanks for all the welcomes, everybody. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one living in a completely boring town.

my town shuts down at 5 pm. Only thing operating after that are the cops..... and I swear, the cops are half the population here
