Smile Hello Surpassers!

Hi everyone!

My name is Tai, may I get yours? =D

I'm 21 and just got out of the Army. I was a Paratrooper Medic and was stationed in Alaska(absolutely love the snow) for 3 years. So, in a nut-shell, I jumped out of planes, roadmarched with the infantry, and poked solders with needles! =P I was fortunate and never got deployed overseas. I still talk to my buddies that are over there right now, they get to use e-mail or the phone every now and then but not often.

I've had a website on Surpass Hosting for the past 5 years, since the company started in 2002. I've used the site intermittently, and I share it with my older Sister whom had staked a claim in http://happygroupd.leyungtai.net .

My website is located at http://leyungtai.net. I'm a Flash MX enthusiast and I've built 2 complete websites so far. One for my highschool located at http://sangorgonio.leyungtai.net/ (they said they'd contract me but they ended wanting it free so I didn't sell it to them) and the other is buried somewhere in my back-up hard-drive. I originally used the site to share and receive digital memorabilia of Michelle Branch(http://thewreckers.com/) when she was singing solo. Now that I'm out of the Army, I'm just going back to college for a Medical Proffession and work on my website for fun.

I love my Fender DG22sce guitar. I cook a lot as a result of living by myself in the Army. Nowadays I cook primarily Italian and Vietnamese food. In fact I just BBQ Hoisin Beef for my Speech Class today. Marinated the meat last night, and BBQ'd it this morning, was ready by 4pm for my class. Most of my class came back for seconds, I'm still happy to this second that my class cleaned out the oven-baked potatoes, baked zuchinnis, and Hoisin BBQ beef. Anyhoo, My Alaska girlfriend broke-up with me because she wanted to stay in Alaska and I was going to move back to California. = [ . Painful yet life goes on. I can't change people, I can only respect their decisions. = [

In my spare time, I can be found running on the sidewalk or through the park to maitain the best of health. I loooooove running >=D. I'm looking for a local marathon, just to see how far I can run, for now I can run 11.2 miles non-stop. For all you vets out there, my average PT score is 295 =P I enjoy meeting new people, and I have a great time approaching random people I find interesting and strike a mutual conversation.

I just bought a new car, a silver2007toyota corolla, because I needed to grow out of my 2005scionXA. I'm going to a community college to get credits for transfer to UCR. I want to be a Doctor >=D

Alright, I think that's more than everyone wants to know about me so I'm gonna post ya later!

- Tai

I agree... I hate it too... I usually tell them that I don't do that type of stuff anymore so that they leave me alone.

Otherwise they expect that I then know everything and insist that I teach them howto do ___________ (insert blank with basic things that some people are too lazy to learn themselves... e.g. howto use google)

Now if the person is actually interested in learning and building their knowledge for further use of HTML/CSS/Other Tech Related things... then I am more than happy to help as much as I can.

heh. I'm very social, and did not mean to write so much until I saw "preview post" = ] I find the Medical Profession to mirror the Information Technology Profession. I analogize IT's hardware and software to Medical's flesh and bones. The process of diagnosis and fixing both requires equal ingenuity. Both fields are equally progressive and challenging. = )
