Product of Surpass Hosting
Hello!
My name is Rini, and I am a web designer and graphic creator. I have been working with HTML, CSS, and PHP for alomst 2 years and there are still many things that I am unsure of. The program that I currently use to create graphics is a free program called The Gimp. I have found it very usefull, but difficult at some times as well. Full of questions, I am sure that you will see me around the forums quite a bit asking yet another interesting question about the currently unfamiliar ways of Surpass Hosting, though I am sure, with your help, I will be able to get through any difficulties that may occur. (As I am positive they will.) Currently still in school, I am studying to become a Police Officer though my hobbies are very odd for one who seeks this profession (so I am told). They include drawing, reading, web design, coding, swimming, and other normal and sometimes abnormal hobbies of the average American Teen. My last website was a small Anime/Neopets graphics site that was hosted on a subdomain by one of my online-aquainted friends, who owned her own J-Rock resource site. I maintained this site almost entirely by myself, before seeking help from friends I had met through the internet. My current site, hosted of course by Surpass Hosting, is a J-Rock/J-Pop/Anime site called Okashi Kumo. After I get my new website up and running smoothly, I plan on offering free subdomain hosting to those who are seeking it. As sort of a way to give back to those who helped me when I was hosted by those free hosting sites with little to offer to the aspiring designer. Just as my hostess agreed to host my site. Now, I have told you all a little about me, and I am very excited to get to know just as much about you all. Hello Rini,
My story is kind of yours in reverse. I'm a 38 year old police officer who is just getting into the web business after a lifelong hobby with computers and, in the last few years, web design/coding. Your career choice can be very rewarding & very draining at times. It's mostly thankless - you have to learn to get some self-satisfaction from doing the right thing. Most people will only complain about us. Welcome, and if you have any questions please do ask. The community of Surpass is what makes it good.

Rini, some advice for you. Since you're going to be going into law enforcement:
Arrest all those jocks out there, and let the web-designers speed around and break laws!! LET THE GEEKS REIGN!!
