Interesting. Didn't actually try to develop for Silverlight (don't have a Windows computer) so I never saw that point. Bad move on Microsoft's part in my opinion.

Can understand the frustration. Though at that time it was still beta, so I guess Microsoft can kind of use that as an excuse... but at the same time, the beta is a perfect chance to get some early develop and feedback from people that will actually use the stuff. Give free beta development tools and grow your developer community.
Makes me curious as to Apple's SDK for the iPhone/iPod Touch. Hopefully they let it be pretty open like podcasts instead of closed like the iPod games. |
