Please read the information below carefully if you are located on this server.

The old IP is 66.193.230.60

The new IP is 72.29.70.95

IF YOU USE CUSTOM DNS, YOU *MUST* UPDATE YOUR DNS IPs. THIS IS MANDATORY.

ns1 >> 72.29.70.96
ns2 >> 72.29.70.97

If you go to your site and you see a cPanel page that reads "No website configured at this address" that means your local computer is trying to load your site on the old IP. Simply restart your PC, modem or router so it can release it from cache.

P.S. If you are using an SSL or have a static IP email esurpasshosting.com with your domain name so we can assign you a new static IP and make sure your SSL is working correctly.tly.

mecca will have a 2 hour downtime window between
6am and 8am Sunday Jan 22 2006 EST. We will be doing
some movement of racks within the datacenter. We
picked this time which has shown to be the least
traffic on the server. We apologize for any inconvenience.

A restore it is.

Hello,

As Paul noted in the previous reply, mecca started experiencing some issues around 4AM. After several hours of trying to fix the server, it was concluded that a restore would indeed be the best solution as there were many drive errors, and just too many critical system files missing to make it worth everyone's time to 'band-aid' the server.

With that said, we are currently reinstalling the OS + cPanel on a new drive. This should take ~1-1.5 hours. Once this is complete, we will begin restoring the data.

We will be able to give everyone a good ETA once the actual data restore is started. As usual, please refrain from sending tickets about site issues just yet, as chances are, all of the issues will be resolved automatically once the restore is complete.

Please continue watching this thread for further updates.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks,
