Pass had to be rebooted due to a run-on process overloading the server.

It appears it is having difficulties booting up now. We have admins on the case and we will update you as we get findings..

UPDATE:

Server is back online

It required a FSCk which is a file system check aka scan disk in Windows.

Thanks for your patience.

The hard drive on Pass is having major problems, seems to be related to what was happening this morning.

It is stable enough now so we are going to put the server back online, and do the copy to a new drive while the sites are live. Please give us about 20 minutes to set this up. I will announce when the move is done, because at that point the server will be back to normal speed and operations.

Pass just crashed and was rebooted, when it came back up it was still slow. It was due to a plug in on a Movable Type blog. The file has been disabled and the customer emailed.

Please read the information below carefully if you are located on this server.

The old IP is 66.194.152.240

The new IP is 72.29.75.123

IF YOU USE CUSTOM DNS, YOU *MUST* UPDATE YOUR DNS IPs. THIS IS MANDATORY.

ns1 >> 72.29.75.124
ns2 >> 72.29.75.125

If you go to your site and you see a cPanel page that reads "No website configured at this address" that means your local computer
is trying to load your site on the old IP. Simply restart your PC, modem or router so it can release it from cache.

P.S. If you are using an SSL or have a static IP email esurpasshosting.com with your domain name so we can assign you a new static IP and make sure your SSL is working correctly.

The Apache service keeps failing, it should show "Web" as down on the server status page, but the service keeps going on and off so it's not catching it in the 5 minute intervals as down. We are checking this out. Thank you for your patience.

Fantastico has been manually updated today.

A cron has been added to this server so that Fantastico will update automatically with newly released program versions.

WebCalendar has been removed from the Fantastico feature set due to ongoing security issues. All send_reminders.php (file used by WebCalendar) files have been disabled since they are part of massively launched exploits by spammers.

The ability to manually update AWStats has been removed due to server load issues that can arise from that.

This server has also had a full account check and any accounts going over acceptable CPU/Memory usage have been notified.
