This thread is a timeline for all events occuring to the server Pass27.

Each time this server has an issue it will be posted here.

If you cannot access your site, and there is no announcement here, the reason for it is not caused by this server or our network. You must email support

surpasshosting.com to find the root of your problem.

Please be advised there will be 2 hours of downtime Schedueled for
your server. We have scheduled it during minimum traffic time for your
convenience

Time: 5am EST Sunday Sept 25th 2005
Duration 2 hours or less

We will be optimizing our network routes and at the same time moving
some servers within the facility to a more organized layout location.

Pass27's mail sent per hour per domain limit has been set to 350 (it was previously 750) and POP checks per hour has been set to 30 (it was previously unlimited). These are the default standards for our servers. Older servers have different settings and if usage becomes too high (which begins to cause issues) mail settings are changed to what we use successfullyon new servers.

There are some sites on Pass27 that are offering some video clips to download and these are generating a huge amount of Apache requests, as can be imagined, so this is being resolved.

Due to some issues on Pass27, we need to enable phpsuexec on this server. This will be done 7/8 at 9 P.M. EST.

Monday night, June 16th we will be enabling PHP SuExec and upgrading PHP and MySQL to version 5 on pass27.dizinc.com.

There will be some minimum downtime past 12am EST.
