This thread is a timeline for all events occuring to the server Pass32.

Each time this server has an issue it will be posted here.

pass32 was under a severe inbound ddos attack today in early morning hours of the day. It became so severe that we had to block the main server ip to isolate the attack.

We have migrated everyone to a new main shared ip.

72.29.78.219

from now on use

http://72.29.78.219:2086/ for whm

http://72.29.78.219:2086/ for cpanel

if you use the IP to ftp or point any dns zones to the server please make a note on the ip change.

If you are still unable to load your site, most likely your local PC is still trying to load the site of the old main ip. Please try to restart your PC to clear any dns cache.

Pass32 has had many issues as of late so we are taking it down from approximately

3 A.M. to 6 A.M. EST Friday Oct 28 2005

for system checks, full audit and general maintenance.

After doing some drive testing we have concluded that due to some bad sectors may be the reason for the recent complaints.

We will have to take down this server again tomorrow at 3am EST till 8am EST Sat. Oct 29 2005

Please let your clients know.

There was a slight delay tonight so the downtime will be from approximately 6 A.M. to 9 A.M. EST. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We believe the exact issue with the intermittent failing of BIND has been diagnosed and Resolved.

pass32 will have a 2 hour downtime window between
6am and 8am Sunday Jan 15 2006 EST. We will be doing
some movedment of racks within the datacenter. We
picked this time which has shown to be the least
traffic on the server. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pass32 is giving hard drive errors, we have to take down this server and check things out. I will post another update soon.

Due to severe file errors we are forced to reinstall this system. This will also solve the intermittent issues that have occured on this server as of late.

Service will return by 8 A.M. EST.
