After the trouble with the servers a couple weeks ago (or was it when cpanel was upgraded?), not sure but now the MySQL Account Maintenance does not display my current databases nor the users setup for it. Before the trouble or upgrade with the servers, I had 5 databases, one of which was actively used. After the upgrade or whatver, CPanel reads as this:
Mysql databases 0 / 9999 SQL Disk usage 0.00 Megabytes PhpMyAdmin shows the five databases from before though... Just now, I used Fantastico to setup an invision forum and it created a user but not a database. I then tried to create a database through MySQL Account Maintenance but no luck, I also wanted to see what would happen if I created my primary mysql user account (that I created a long time ago) and it said that the user already existed, so that shows that my account is still there, just that it's not being displayed at all. Another thing that I addressed before but I guess not many other people have this problem. When installing the scripts with fantastico, it registers the user and database as kcuf.us_user and kcuf.us_database. It should set it up as kcufus_user and kcufus_database, without the period. That's how PhpMyAdmin shows up my databases. Well, I just tried creating a new database with MySQL Account Maintenance and it said that the database was created but it is not displayed, and I don't know of any other way to add a user to a database so I'm pretty much stuck because none of the users nor the databases are displayed. Sorry for the long post but that's my current situation. Should I take this to support? :frust: |

Definitely a support ticket.. It seems you have a period in your username, and that is causing the various scripts to choke and not recognize the database, and would also explain why Cpanel doesn't see any of the old databases since it is looking for them under kcuf.us_ now when it used to look for kcufus_.

Oops, I never updated on this situation. Well, everything got fixed, someone from tech fixed the period problem, all of my databases showed up again, Fantastico actually works now, I can finally view the statistics for my website, all the paths seem to be fixed. I had a problem with my subdomain ftp accounts and that got fixed as well. What can I say? Surpass support is great.
