From what I know, yes it is OK to use it, but just realise that there is a posibility that it will be exploited. In fact, somebody's site that was using PHPfanbase was just exploited: My website got hacked ._.

So just be careful. Try to keep it up to date with the latest releases. And from seeing the post on their site:

I would try looking into alternative scripts, see if there is anything that might work as well, or better than PHPfanbase. You can try www.hotscripts.com for a wide selection of scripts.

You can use Enthusiast [which you can get from here], its like fan base but I dont think it's written by codegrrl.

Also they posted a few modifications of fan base which are said to be a little secure in the forums so try and use those while they work on it.

I see.. thanks alot ^^ I have Fls (hosted by some kind souls) and I use PHPfanbase.. That's why i'm a little worried.
