Need help

Hi.

I just installed two different programs under one database. If a user has signed up for one program (SMF), whould that same person has to sign up the other program in order for them to use the other program?

That depends,
does the other program integrate with SMF?
Even though scripts are installed under the same database, they use different tables.
So most likely, they'd have to register at both places.

Than you would have to intergrate them using what ever method which ever software that is going to be "absorbed" into the other one uses. For instance, Xoops has a module version of Invision Board. You have to use the IPB module version to have an Invision Board on your Xoops site. Coppermine has a bridge to connect to the userbase for an Invision Board message board. You have to connect using that bridge.

Check in the coppermine documentation. It should explain how to bridge the two.
