trying to install oscommerce

Hi there, I'm trying to set up an online store on my domain, but when I installed OSCommerce, the error "register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory" appeared. how do I fix this, and does it matter that my account is shared domain hosting? Thanks! =)

Just create a php.ini file with register_globals = on and upload it to the root of your site (public_html) and EVERY osCommerce directory and subdirectory or ask support to do it for your.
