Best Integratable File and Gallery Script?

I am working on a clan website and I need to know if anyone has any opinions or can point me into the right direction for the best integratable file and gallery php script?

They can be separate scripts or together but they need to be able to be integrated into a website easily.

i believe your missing part of the question there. By file do you mean a CMS,portal orforum? These thingstake a bit of research to find what is best suited to you content wise. From experience, id first look at Coppermine Gallery and Gallery 2 as standalone galleries and choose which one is best suited for your needs. these two are the most popular in terms of bridging with other softwares. Coppermine is a lot more features but you may find that isnt what you need.(or like). The next two things that are important is to find the script that will give you same log in and that handles the content you want.

I agree with Dad (haha, odd calling you that) Did you mean a CMS script? For the gallery I highly recommend Gallery (that is what it is called) Which is located to for easy download in your fantastico within the Cpanel. If you'd like to have the files on your computer, you can easily download them from an FTP program (if you download it from Fantastico) or download it from the website itself.

Coppermine is a great pick also. Both gallery scripts have many different features for you to choose from, so I would research both and see which one suites your needs better.

If you are looking for a CMS, I would look into Wordpress or Joomla/Mambo. Both are fantastic CMS scripts, while Wordpress is more for a personal to blog site, they have many features for you in order to make a wonderful site, no matter the genre. Joomla and Mambo work pretty much the same, but I for more corporate/large websites, and will probably suit your needs better. Again, all of these scripts can be found in the Fantastico within your Cpanel.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask! =)

Ah, ok I see what you mean now. For the download script I'm too sure, since I've never had to use one. For the gallery script, Coppermine Gallery is "website intergratable".

well, simplemachines .org is a forum... it has a great built in downloads section. if it is just the images that you want to download.. most galleries have that built in. also if you already have an existing CMS, Simplemachines has a ton of SSI functions to bring up to your main page(s)

Also simplemachines has bridges for both gallery and coppermine.
