[Answered] mod_security - Is it used? Question about it.

Hi everyone. I have a quick question:

I use Drupal on my site (smoothjams104.com - sh136), and I'm trying to update from 6.1 to 6.2. This has caused me nothing but tremendous headaches.

Rather than go into tons of detail, let me just say that when I try to update, Drupal reports an HTTP 406 error.

I asked about this at the Drupal forums, and someone linked me to this page:
Mysterious 403, 404, 406 or 500 errors depending on submitted content | drupal.org

So my question is, is this mod_security being used , and if so, is there any way to get it toned down a bit so I don't get this error?

I was able to update from 6.0 to 6.1 without issues, so I have no real idea why this is happening now.

mod_security is installed, and putting what it suggests in your .htaccess should fix your problem.

Thanks a bundle for the awesome and quick reply! holy crap!

I didn't know if PHPsuexec being used would have caused any issues for me. glad to hear it's not going to be a problem.
